Apple’s annual shareholder meeting will be held on March 10 this year. The US Fox Business Channel pointed out that NLPC submitted two exemption requests to the US Securities and Exchange Commission for Al Gore and Tim Cook, two Apple board members.
The report pointed to one document urging Apple shareholders to vote against Gore’s continued nomination as a director, and another document opposing the renomination of CEO Tim Cook to the board. Both proposals will be heard and voted on at the March 10 shareholder meeting.
On February 3, Apple disclosed its results for the first quarter of fiscal 2023 ending December 31, 2022. Revenue during the period was US$117.2 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5%, which was the largest quarterly revenue drop since September 2016; net profit was US$29.998 billion, a decrease of 13% compared with US$34.630 billion in the same period last year.
According to a report on the Wall Street Journal Chinese website in January, Apple said that CEO Tim Cook received a total salary of 99.42 million US dollars (about 669 million yuan) in 2022, but the salary will be reduced in 2023. The total target is 49 million US dollars (about 330 million yuan). Apple also said the pay changes had Cook’s support. Specialized in the OEM/ODM industry companies that need parts machined
