The dangers of non-intervention:

1) The assembly tolerance of the R&D design is unreasonable. After the supplier enters mass production, some parts reach the lower limit, and then the production line cannot be assembled and stopped, but the workers often do not know what is going on. Many companies do not have the technology, and the engineering goes online to analyze the reasons. Workers or production managers directly threw fire on SQE’s head, saying that no matter what supplier you manage, everything could not be assembled. SQE asked IQC for analysis for a long time, and all the dimensions were qualified. . .

2) In the early stage, no one agreed with the supplier on the packaging method, and did not do enough verification of the packaging method. In fact, this should be part of SQE’s PPAP, but there are many companies who only care about SQE in the later stage, and the samples given to the supplier in the early stage are recognized as projects. Or engineering, and finally the supplier’s product was delivered, the packaging was smashed, and the internal parts were all damaged, and finally evolved into a quality problem that SQE had to deal with, but the supplier refused to change to better packaging unless he increased the price. 3) The internal yield rate of the supplier is very poor, and the samples are carefully selected. After mass production, they will not be shipped all the time. At the end of the purchase, they said that it was caused by the internal quality problem of the supplier, and then successfully pushed the work to SQE. , and let SQE stay in the factory for guidance. After SQE was stationed in the factory, it found that the supplier’s process capability was seriously insufficient, and the accuracy of the equipment used could not guarantee the product tolerance.

4) The company has requirements on the appearance of products, but there is no clear inspection standard. Even if it is the same batch of parts, this inspector sees dust today, tomorrow the inspector sees scratches, and the day after tomorrow, another inspector sees it. There is a chromatic aberration. However, the drawings did not mention any appearance requirements. R&D said that appearance requirements should not be written into the drawings. This is a matter of quality control. SQE is finally reduced to a person who does appearance inspection standards. . In the end, it was decided that the supplier could not do it, the decision was loose, the internal QE and production were not involved, and some suppliers who had something to do with your procurement or the boss would bite back, saying that your SQE did not even set the standard and the requirements were not clear. , and these requirements are put forward after mass production, the ability is too poor. 5) The supplier’s product is a tin-plated product, which turned yellow after three months in the warehouse. The supplier said that they will not accept returns, because the electroplating products can only guarantee a 3-month shelf life, which is caused by the poor environment of your own warehouse and the overdue non-use. Because there is no guarantee period in the early stage, SQE has to coordinate around to see if it can control the inventory turnover time and improve the temperature and humidity control of the internal warehouse. (For example, the battery has not been installed in the warehouse for a long time, and the lack of electricity will cause the vehicle to fail to start after being installed)

6) The roughness is not specified in the drawings, but your final product has serious customer complaints because of the roughness. Finally, SQE found that the supplier and your IQC have no one to test the roughness, because there has never been a standard, and finally it is said that the supplier is anyway. The process is unstable, how can the roughness be good in small batch trial production? Your SQE hurriedly went to negotiate with the supplier for the 500,000 RMB lost by the customer’s complaint, and let them quickly accept it. You can’t decide, but the general manager finally said that your SQE ability is too poor, the standard is not clear, and the supplier can’t handle it. 7) Due to the shortage of manpower, the supplier thinks that the size of the PPAP sample is unimportant. Although they are not qualified internally, they still deliberately become qualified, so as to save the wasted time of communicating with you. However, your internal resources are also in short supply. IQC does not conduct any inspection and review of the full size of the supplier’s PPAP samples (occasionally review a few key dimensions, but some assembly dimensions that you have developed are not included in the key points), and go directly to production. The production people have many problems without careful observation, and the actual production line assembly is a bit difficult. In the end, mass production was carried out. The production line found that the assembly has always been labor-intensive (it takes force to insert it, and sometimes I have to find a hammer to knock it), and finally gave up, saying that there was a problem with the parts. After confirmation, SQE found that the size turned out to be oversized. Poor, I asked the supplier why the PPAPs were all qualified. The supplier argued that the measurement systems of the two sides were different, and finally tossed it for a long time. Internally, the SQE was still full of anger and complaints.

8) In the early stage, no one agreed with the supplier on the minimum packaging quantity and the size of the carton and tray. After mass production, the supplier’s tray was too large, and the warehouse said that it could not fit on the shelf. The production said that the carton was too large to fit in the production line. 9) The drawings of electroplating products do not require salt spray test. After mass production, the customer complained that there was red rust in the salt spray test for 24 hours. Finally, it was found that the customer did not clarify the requirements with R&D, or told Sales, and Sales did not tell R&D or the customer.
