Because this company is a German company, all the production lines in the workshop are imported directly from Germany. They are made in Germany and then sent to China, so they are the original German production lines. In the past two years, I have come into contact with the working methods of some German equipment suppliers. I was working on projects before, and programmers were the most tired. In order to catch up with the acceptance node, since the power-on and debugging, it has never been off work normally, and has been working overtime. It is early until 8:00 pm, and sometimes it will be until the middle of the night a few days before the customer comes to check and accept it every day. Sometimes, in order to catch up with the progress of the company, some of our colleagues do not even let them go back home, and live directly in the express hotel near the company. But I see that their programmers hardly work overtime. Either at their company in Germany or at our site in China, unless there are special circumstances.   3. For PLC programs, the division of labor is different. One vendor does this for work on this side of the program. They have a department of people who are dedicated to writing programs and are only responsible for writing programs. They are responsible for writing various standard PLC program blocks in the office, but they do not go to the field to debug. These people are white-collar workers, and they don’t need to go to the site for debugging, and they don’t need to travel too much. On-site debugging is another group of people, similar to mechanical fitters, they are electrical fitters. They are responsible for downloading the programs written by the people in the office and then debugging them. All the people who do program debugging on our site are such people.
  4. Their PLC programs are surprisingly standard. When I was working on a project before, I would first make a PLC program template, but this template went out of shape when I was doing it. In the end, everyone was different. So much so that I don’t think standardization will ever be possible. But the Germans are really doing something beyond my expectations in this regard. The whole line procedure is like a work station procedure. You understand a station, and you basically understand a line. In this regard, you cannot accept it.   5. The installation of hardware, from wiring, labels, etc., is indeed out of our way. It’s not how advanced they are, but they can be produced and constructed in strict accordance with specifications and procedures, despite the appearance of rigidity.

  7. German companies all use email to work. The mail office allows each employee to work step by step and deal with them one by one. At the same time, the mail can be sorted and archived, and the cause and effect of each event can be seen at a glance. The domestic office pays more attention to the use of telephone, QQ, WeChat and other tools, the means are diversified and integrated, the speed is very fast, and the response is also fast.   8. The work requirements are in place at one time, and the intermediate process is guaranteed to be coherent. When German colleagues are dealing with affairs, they require that the minutiae be in place at one time, and the intermediate requirements cannot be interrupted or interrupted. This is why the habit of making an appointment is especially popular in Germany. As for domestic office habits, it is often that when thing A is halfway done, thing B comes. As soon as thing B is about to start, thing C comes again. The result is that domestic colleagues do 100 things a day and may succeed in 10; while German colleagues do 20 things a day but succeed in 20.
  9. Tool thinking. As a manufacturing power, Germany’s instrumental thinking is deeply imprinted in everyone’s work thinking. The German researchers we contacted often compiled a set of test ideas and test software by themselves when they were doing tests, and then demonstrated the tool, and then used this tool to quickly test the data.
